Mike Warjone

Port Blakely’s Board of Directors has announced its plans to appoint Mike Warjone as the company’s next Chief Executive Officer (CEO), effective January 1, 2026. Mike joined Port Blakely in 1997 and has built his career in a wide range of roles, including Forester, Silviculture Manager, Director of Strategy and Vice President of Operations. A fourth-generation descendant of the company’s founders, he brings a deep, personal commitment to the stewardship of working forests and long-term sustainability.

He currently serves on the boards of the Washington Forest Protection Association and Sustainable Northwest, as well as the Chair of the Operating Committee of the National Alliance of Forest Owners (NAFO).

A native of the Pacific Northwest, Mike feels most at home in the forest, but enjoys spending time with his family on Puget Sound and in the Cascade Mountains. He holds an MBA from the University of Washington.
