New Zealand Forestry
From healthy forests to renewable wood products.
From healthy forests to renewable wood products.
Our forests provide more than timber; they store carbon, protect New Zealand’s waterways, and sustain biodiversity. Working alongside local communities and partners, we invest in conservation, education, and community initiatives that deliver long-term benefits.
On the North Island, we grow radiata pine; on the South Island, a mix of radiata pine and Douglas-fir. These forests meet New Zealand’s domestic needs while also supplying international markets. Each is carefully managed to reflect the unique characteristics of its landscape, ensuring healthy forests and resilient ecosystems.
Since beginning operations on Matakana Island in 1994, Port Blakely Ltd. NZ Forestry has helped shape New Zealand’s forest landscape. Today, we produce renewable timber while caring for the land and the people connected to it.
