René Ancinas has served as Chair of the Board since 2015 and served as CEO from 2010 to 2025. A fourth-generation Eddy family member, he helped establish the company’s family governance structure and led Port Blakely through a period of significant transformation and growth.

Susan Barratt is a fourth-generation Eddy family member, small-business owner, and former Eddy Family Council President. As a Family Director, she brings firsthand experience in family governance and a deep understanding of Port Blakely’s history, values, and commitment to family ownership.

Colleen Brown is a corporate director and former public company CEO with deep expertise in strategy, governance, succession, and long-term value creation.  She advises boards and executive teams on organizational renewal and serves on the board of Bakkt Holdings, with extensive experience across public, family-controlled, and nonprofit organizations.

R. “Scott” Howell is CEO of Northern Industrial Management LLC and a longtime leader in the forest products industry. His experience spans timber operations, manufacturing, real estate, and global forestry markets, bringing valuable operational and strategic insight to the board.

Anne McClain is a U.S. Army colonel, NASA astronaut, and fourth-generation member of the Eddy family. An accomplished aviator and test pilot, she brings extensive operational and leadership experience, including multiple missions aboard the International Space Station and command of NASA’s SpaceX Crew-10 mission.

Jeff Nuss is Managing Partner of Handprint Partners, where he advises and invests in sustainable solutions across natural resources, energy and the built environment. With more than 30 years of leadership in timberland investment and resource management, he brings expertise in climate-focused investing, forestry strategy and sustainable land management.

Therese Rehn is a Family Director and fourth-generation member of the Eddy family. She brings experience in financial services, small-business ownership, and agriculture, including managing her family's cherry orchard in Central Washington.

Stan Renecker is a former Managing Director of Acquisitions at Campbell Global, a J.P. Morgan company, and a leader in timberland and natural resource investing. With more than three decades of experience in acquisitions and investment management, he brings expertise in global forestry markets, strategic growth, and asset management.

Debra Somberg is a seasoned finance and governance leader with extensive experience in venture capital, investment banking, and corporate strategy. She currently serves as chair of BECU and brings deep expertise in board leadership, innovation, and cross-sector collaboration.
