As Chief Financial Officer, Kim sets and leads Port Blakelyâs financial strategy, playing a key role in guiding the companyâs long-term vision and operational resilience.
Kim is a seasoned business leader, experienced working with private and family-owned companies in all stages from start-up to multigenerational. Kim joined Port Blakely in 2021 and has extensive senior financial leadership experience across diverse sectors, including building materials, technology, and commercial fishing.Â
A fourth-generation Washington state native, Kim is deeply committed to her community. She is active in organizations that support children, particularly those in the foster care system. Her service includes roles as a Court Appointed Special Advocate- King County, past board member of the Washington Association for Child Advocate Programs, and Emeritus board member and past president of Treehouse and past president of Girls on the Run Puget Sound. She is also involved with the Washington Womenâs Foundation and the CFO Leadership Council.
Kim is a Certified Public Accountant and a Deloitte alumna. She earned a BA in Accounting and Finance and a Masterâs in Nonprofit Leadership from Seattle University. In her free time, she enjoys sailing, cycling, hiking, camping and baking fruit pies with ingredients from her familyâs orchards.
